Sample review content shown for layout and structure — replace with your own verified, current research before publishing. Fees and features change over time; confirm directly with the provider.

Binance is the largest exchange by trading volume worldwide, and its fees and liquidity reflect that scale. It's also the exchange with the most significant regulatory history — including a 2023 settlement with US authorities. That history doesn't mean funds aren't safe today, but it's context worth having before choosing it as a primary exchange.

Fees

Spot trading (maker/taker)0.10% / 0.10%
Fee with native token discountas low as 0.075%
WithdrawalNetwork fee only

Security

Binance maintains a SAFU (Secure Asset Fund for Users) insurance fund and has significantly increased compliance investment since its 2023 settlement. Its scale makes it a high-value target, so following its own 2FA and withdrawal-whitelist recommendations matters more here than on smaller platforms.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Lowest trading fees among major exchanges
  • Largest coin selection and trading volume
  • Advanced tools for active traders

Cons

  • Faced major regulatory settlements (including in the US)
  • Not available or restricted in some jurisdictions
  • Overwhelming interface for beginners

Verdict

The deepest liquidity and lowest fees of any major exchange, but has faced significant regulatory action in multiple jurisdictions — worth understanding before depositing large sums.
